Having a lesson plan is key to instructional success. Here is an example of a 5 step lesson plan.
I started with the learning goal for the Introduction to Photography class. Then I wrote the learning objectives. Next, I visualized how the target audience would best learn these objectives. Since the learners need to develop their own artistic insight, this lesson allows the learner to form their own hypothesis through critiquing others.
In the appendix, you will see two advanced organizers to help the students not only structure their thinking, but to guide them through the instructional steps.
